#EuSAVE

Project management for the Vimianzo Town Council. The purpose of the project was to create a smart network of historic European towns to increase the involvement and participation of citizens in the socioeconomic life of their towns, promoting social commitment actions and defining local development strategies based on opportunities offered by the material and immaterial cultural heritage of those historic territories as assets for the intelligent, sustainable, and inclusive growth of the EU.

The project involved the participation of 40 small rural municipalities with fewer than 10,000 inhabitants, from eight different countries, from four areas in Europe. For two years, the transnational work groups carried out a wide range of citizen participation activities within the framework of the European smart network of historic towns created by the project. Through these actions, a map of good practices for success initiatives has been developed, arising from the synergy between social innovation and cultural heritage. The project was carried out between January 2019 and December 2020.

INDA Iniciativas was responsible for the processing and global management of the project.
