General Objective
Skill-Pro aims at empowering social economy organisations in securing the funds needed to help the social economy sector emerge stronger from the pandemic and transform our economies, create opportunities and jobs for Europe.
Specific Objectives
The specific objectives of the project are:
- to raise awareness on the solidarity initiatives taken during and post- crisis, as well as the key role played by social economy enterprises and organisations and encourage dialogue and co-planning of measures with public authorities to address the needs of social economy organisations to help in the recovery process;
- to increase the skills of Social Economy actors in securing and managing funds.
Activities
The main activities implemented by the project are:
- understanding and tackling the needs and role of social economy actors in the post pandemic scenario amongst public administrations and the general public;
- re-training and up-skilling of 30 to 60 social economy professionals in project design, fundraising and project management;
- dissemination and exploitation of the project results to help raise awareness and increase the knowledge regarding the role of social economy in Europe and to inform public authorities on how to best address the needs of organisations.
